Driving Test

Driving Test is one of the most important days and stressful as well. The key to success is a preparation. Many people prepare for Driving Test to late don’t get any results and fail few times in a row.

Here are few tips you can use:

- Choose the Test Center which is near to where you live. This will give u ability to practice on test routes if you have your own car or not to waste time to travel for lessons. You will be also more familiar with the area

- Do not take lessons from relatives they usually not familiar with the test requirements. Make them observe and do notes then discuss this with instructor to resolve problems

- Remember Driving Test is not only to show tester that you can drive car and be safe. It’s about the standard of driving you have to reach

- Testers are very formal which may seem strange sometimes and make you feel nervous. Do not expect them to be chatty and super friendly. Treat driving test as you would go for a job interview

- Make sure to take a day off work if possible or day off at the day of your test. This will make you feel more relaxed

- Your attitude is 50 % of your success so smile and think positive

How to start:

- Make sure to book lessons as soon as you receive letter form a test center. Take one pre test to check what to work on and then decide with your instructor how to schedule and what to do next time

- Decide asap what car will you be using for a test

- Start doing some research on internet. Read about Eco Driving and new driving techniques.

- When using your own car If possible practice as much as you can ( just make sure to have a full licence driver with you at all times )

- I will have more chance if I use instructor/driving school car – Not True

- Young drivers are more likely to fail driving test even when they reach standard – Not True

- Testers have to fail a certain quota of tests per day or week – Not True

- Taking test in the morning, afternoon , Friday or sat will increase/decrease chance of passing – Not True

- You must keep your two hands on the wheel when stopped in traffic and you've to be in neutral gear – Not True
