As we know automatic cars are not too popular in Europe. People say that auto transmission cars cost more to run. This is obviously not true. Yes back in 90s they where making loads of trouble and usually they where very sluggish. Now automatic cars are more fuel efficient cheaper to maintain and rarely brake down or as same as manual cars. Even the cost of purchasing is as same and automatics and they are usually in better condition in comparison to a manual car , same model, same year used car.
Not every one is happy to drive an automatic and people have they own reasons. We totally understand that. That's why we offer both Manual And Automatic lessons. But when it comes to drive in town traffic for 2h I personally choose automatic transmission. Most people when they try automatic car they never go back to drive manual.
Our lessons are for anyone at any stage and any age. We think driving an automatic car can improve safety on Irish roads. It's safer to drive automatic because you can concentrate on a road more, spot the hazards easily and deal with them as soon as they appear.
Now with the new rules coming up on the 4th of April min of 12h of driving lessons is required. Why not to try automatic, safe some money, time and stress. Yes, when you pass driving test you only be approved to drive automatic but that is the only price you pay. If you can go over that, than we see no reason why you should not try automatic transmission car.
